SMITE: Roman Arena - Miscellaneous

For SMITE's new Arena map, I was tasked with a few diverse tasks, like creating a 2D flipbook animation for the audience and sim'ing some fabrics for Bellona's base. I really enjoyed being able to work on these more varied assignments. In addition to those, I also helped with Hera's base camp by working on her mural. She is by far my favorite character to play in Smite now, so it was great opportunity to pay some homage to her!

I created the audience using a flipbook animation technique, animated at 12 frames per second. There was a significant amount of painting required to make them blend seamlessly into the environment.

I worked on both the textures and some of the meshes for the red cloths draped around Bellona's base camp. We used Marvelous Designer to sim the fabrics.
